Thanks for all your support

Dear course mates and Donna,

There are many things I would like to tell you about this experience.
First of all, the fact that I have learnt alot from you, your experiences, and suggestions. I wouldn't say this is the end, I think this is just the beginning.

I will try to use all things I learnt here. Putting all the theory in practice .

Learning styles

This week we have been discussing about how our students learn. Each person is born with certain preferences toward particular styles, but culture, experience, and development influence these preferences. The four  most common learning styles are visual, aural, reading/writing, and kinesthetic/tactile. Most people learn through all modalities, but have certain strengths and weaknesses in a specific modality. There are many ways for us to realize what kind or kinds of intelligences our students have. Here I would like to add a nice site.

Week 8

Hi friends,

It is easy to realize how busy we have been these days, nevertheless, I could see how great projects you made,
and how motivated your students are.

I'm really interested in creating a site, I have been trying different templates, colors and designs, I also added some interesting sections in it.

I have been working with my partner, exchanging ideas and giving some suggestions to improve for the better.

Integrating all learnt

Hi friends.

This week has been a challenging week, I have been doing a lot of things, combining our daily activities with tasks here.
Fortunately, I could finish my draft, even there are some details to adjust. I do not want this adventure finishes, As I told you on week one I still feel like a boy with new toys.

I hope we will enjoy the rest of this great adventure.

One Computer Classroom

Hi friends,

It is incredible, but we are about to finish this eighth week , How do you feel? How have your teaching styles changed?

Well , To answer myself, I would like to start by saying that there are a lot to share between us, Maybe this course has woken up a kind of feeling or sensations I had never felt.
I have been using the computer in my classroom more for instructional activities, I mean things related with book's contents such as vocabulary, pronunciation, listening activities, etc, and I have just separated a little of time to insert good and interesting ideas by using the computer having my students involved in the class development.

I also said that we could see this idea  frustrating and fun, frustrating because we just have one computer and we would like to have one for each of our students, fun because we can catch our students' attention by preparing nice motivating presentations.

As most of things that happens in our class, we are responsible of how well motivated our students are.

Talking about my Project

Hi again,

I would like to share a little of what I've been working on this week.

First, I have already created my wiki site, and my students their blogs.
What I pretend is what I had already written on week 4 related to using technology in class.

I think my first step is given and now I only have to implement and add more resources in  my site.

I'll be very pleased if you have some suggestions.

Managing Large classes

I remember very well when I started teaching English, Can you imagine 40 students in a class? , I think that was the breaking point in my life. I think I was not well experienced enough, I think I made the most important decision in my life, believe me I found the most beautiful passion. Later soon I realized that there were more than the theory in large class management.Currently, I still teach large groups, but of course there is a big difference between my past experience and the current times.
